Mid-week connect groups

Our mid-week meetings are a time to go deeper in the Lord, get to know one another better, to spend time worshipping, in the Word and praying.

Tuesdays:

The Letter ti the Ephesians

Led by: Gill & Mark Visser

Time: 7:45 - 9:30 pm

Venue: 61 Tollers Lane, Coulsdon, CR5 1BF

Unlike several of the letters Paul wrote, Ephesians does not address any particular error or heresy. Paul wrote to expand the horizons of his readers, so that they might understand better the dimensions of God’s eternal purpose and grace and come to appreciate the high goals God has for the church.

Fridays:

The Book of Acts

Led by: Rach Brooks & Jonny Rose

Time: 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Venue: Zoom

Acts is unique among the New Testament writings, in that its main purpose is to record a selective history of the early church following the resurrection of Christ. It is the second part of a two-volume work, with the Gospel of Luke being the first volume. Both books are dedicated to a person named Theophilus, and Acts 1:1 explicitly refers back to Luke’s Gospel.

Historically it recounts the first 30 years of the church. It is also a bridge that ties the church in its beginning with each succeeding age.

Geographically its story spans the lands between Jerusalem, where the church began, and Rome, the political centre of the empire.

Monthly Prayer Breakfast

Every last Saturday of the month we gather together as a church for breakfast and fellowship and then we pray and seek God for our communities, for mission, for the church and for each other.

8:30 - 9:00 Breakfast & Chat: Mark & Gill are now providing the breakfast in their home, so come and join them for a catch-up and chat before we begin to pray.

9:00 - 10:00 Prayer & Praise: We wait on the Lord to hear from Him and then pray out the things that He lays on our hearts.

We will still have the Zoom link open for those who can't make it in person.
