SUNDAY MORNINGS

what to expect

Our Sunday morning church service usually lasts around an hour and a half (although we hang around to chat afterwards. We start at 10:30am, with free tea & coffee served from 10:15am.

We start with a short welcome, followed by a time of singing and prayer. We then share some notices before a talk based on the Bible that’s practical and relevant to everyday life. After the talk, there’s an opportunity to be prayed for and more time for tea, coffee and cake at the end.

**Due to the Coronavirus we are not going to be meeting in person for the next few weeks**

Instead, we will use other means to stay in touch, study the Word of God, pray, care for and encourage one another.

If you are exploring who Jesus is or want prayer at this time, please do get in touch using the form at the bottom of the page, we'd love to hear from you!

Grace Kids

We use an excellent teaching programme called Energize which caters for different age groups and contains plenty of variety to keep the children engaged. At present we have an all-age group led by Gill Visser and Jan Heffer, and a wonderful team of volunteers who love the children and are committed to seeing them grow spiritually.

Our aims

  • Encouragement to have a personal relationship with Jesus – our best friend and Saviour

  • Opportunities to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit through worship, prayer, prophecy, creativity, sharing and their very special “God Spot”.

  • An understanding of our faith – what we believe and why it’s relevant to every area of our lives

  • A knowledge of the Bible – exciting stories about God’s plan for His people, and how it relates to their life

  • A good experience of church – a place to have lots of fun, make good friends, and be part of a loving family

Safeguarding
We’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. If you’d like a copy of our safeguarding policy, please contact office@gracevineyard.co.uk

We’re passionate about all the kids God brings our way. Grace Kids is a fun and exciting place for kids up to school year 6 to learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with him.

Visitors
If it’s your first Sunday visit to Grace Vineyard, you’ll meet members of the church at the entrance doors and they’ll be happy to show you where to go. Children are valued members of the Grace Vineyard family. They join in with the whole church at the beginning of the service every week to worship and to share communion (we all use grape juice rather than wine) which happens once a month. They then gather and are prayed for before going off to their special time.

We'd love you to
